1.\u00a0About Hampstead Comedy<\/h3>\n

Founded in April 1994, the\u00a0aim is\u00a0to provide a local comedy venue\u00a0with good quality entertainment at an affordable price. \u00a0Since September 2011 the Club has been\u00a0included in Time Out’s list of top London comedy venues.\u00a0 It is an ethical establishment with a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of harassment and bullying.\u00a0 Any complaints in this regard should be addressed to the management in writing.<\/p>\n

2. When does it operate?<\/h3>\n

Regularly on Saturday nights.<\/p>\n

3. Venue description<\/h3>\n

We are at the specially refurbished comedy room upstairs at the\u00a0Camden Head<\/a><\/strong> in Camden High Street. The venue is a classic, intimate and friendly club with a 70 capacity. There is good sound and lighting and everyone gets an excellent view.\u00a0<\/p>\n

4. Who are the acts?<\/h3>\n

Established comedians, occasional newcomers\u00a0and a sprinkling of star names.\u00a0Although we welcome famous artistes, all performers are treated equally and get paid at the same rate. If we we have a star name coming up we advise people on the mailing list in advance. You can join it here: mailing list<\/a>\u00a0 <\/strong>The Hampstead Comedy Club is pleased to have adopted the Equity Comedians’ Standard contract and works within its terms.<\/p>\n

5. What’s the ticket price?<\/h3>\n

The standard price is \u00a310.00 with occasional concessions. We confidently boast we are the best-value Saturday night comedy show in London. If you can find a better deal anywhere in London please let us know.<\/p>\n

6. What is your booking policy for acts?<\/h3>\n

We try to have an open door policy, but acts who publicly endorse racist or homophobic organisations and the like are not welcome at the Club.\u00a0 Also see item 1 above with regard to harassment and bullying.<\/p>\n

7. Nearest tube?<\/h3>\n

The venue is a couple of minutes walk from either Camden Town or Mornington Crescent tube stations.\u00a0 Lots of buses too.<\/p>\n

8. What about eating and drinking?<\/h3>\n

The bar downstairs does food, but we do not allow it in the comedy room. \u00a0All the drinks are pub priced and we have a late bar until Saturdays. \u00a0Food enquiries to the pub on\u00a00207 485 4019.<\/p>\n

9. What’s the best way to get tickets?<\/h3>\n

You can\u00a0book in advance online from this site.\u00a0 If you have an enquiry please call \u00a007722 832635.\u00a0 If you reach a voice mail please leave your name and telephone number clearly at the end of the message and we will get back to you very soon. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Kindly note, acts do occasionally pull out.\u00a0 We make every effort to obtain suitable replacements and always do our best to amend this site’s information\u00a0to include\u00a0any changes.\u00a0Apart from that,\u00a0one important reminder:\u00a0 We are a strictly over-18’s venue.<\/p>\n
